Program Outcomes of the Department



PO-1 Know the classical and contemporary theories of psychology and can define the differences and relationships between them.
PO-2 Knows the subfields of psychology and their study subjects and methods.
PO-3 Evaluates the human being as a biological, psychological, social and cultural whole.
PO-4 Aware of professional boundaries and powers, knows the principles of professional ethics.
PO-5 Know the basic principles of psychological assessment and have basic interview skills.
PO-6 Have a basic level of knowledge about commonly used measurement tools in psychology.
PO-7 Having the methodological knowledge required by the field of psychology, can plan and implement a psychological research individually or as a group member from beginning to end.
PO-8 Can conduct a scientific research from a scientific point of view, analyze, interpret and report the data of a research using appropriate statistical techniques.
PO-9 Can use information and communication technologies together with computer software at the level required by the field.
PO-10 Can think in an inquiring, critical and multidimensional way.
PO-11 To be able to access national and international information about the field and to solve problems, to have knowledge of foreign languages and to be able to follow current scientific studies.
PO-12 By gaining lifelong learning skills, they can use their knowledge about the field in business and daily life with the awareness of social responsibility.
